Beautiful sandals, terrible sizing

Loved the quality and style of these. They were exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, due to sizing, they're unwearable. I'm usually an 8 in sandals and these were MASSIVE on me. My friend tried them on too—she's an 8.5 and they were huge on her as well. Really bummed that I can't wear these beautiful sandals and can't return them because they were final sale.
