Nigerian-born, Harlem-based designer Niyi Okuboyejo occupies a rarefied space within the menswear realm. Eschewing commonplace manufacturing practices, he crafts his collections using traditional dyed fabrics from his homeland, Nigeria. We were so impressed with his work that we sought him out for a collaboration on our latest Holiday ’18 Creative Lab capsule. We recently spent a day with Niyi in Harlem to find out more about the unique method behind his creativity.
